Aluminum IMCO Rails
Aluminum IMCO rails differ from standard aluminum railing, because they are mechanically fastened together and not welded. The railing is fabricated and shipped in 20'-0" (or less) sections with shop attached kick plate, base shoes, brackets, and grabrails. This process produces a fully functional railing that is both structurally sound and economical, while still maintaining the ease of installation of standard welded railing. The primary use for this mechanical-type railing is in the Industrial and Water/Wastewater sectors where functionality is prioritized over high-cost aesthetics. The railing can be constructed in various ways with several mounting and installation configurations, finish options including either an AAMA Class I or II clear anodized coating, and grade 304 (or optional 316) stainless steel fasteners.
